研究領域

 氣孔是由一對保衛(wèi)細胞圍成的小孔,是植物與環(huán)境進行氣體交換的重要器官并被許多微生物利用作為入侵植物的天然開口。氣孔張開及關閉運動在調控植物生長、水分平衡及環(huán)境響應過程中扮演重要角色。本課題組主要從事作物氣孔生物學研究,其中氣孔免疫植物病害是課題組的重點研究方向。在這個方向上課題組已取得系列理論成果,形成了特色。這些研究在單細胞水平上闡明了病原菌誘導的氣孔免疫分子機理,發(fā)現了多個關鍵基因,并提出了保衛(wèi)細胞通過程序性死亡來抵御病原菌入侵(同歸于盡)的創(chuàng)新性氣孔免疫理論。同時,課題組致力于作物氣孔調控技術的研發(fā)服務于作物的可持續(xù)生產。
